The Center for Translational Pancreatic Cancer Research is dedicated to accelerating the transfer of cutting-edge pancreatic cancer research into clinical applications. Our mission is to develop biologically informed, patient-centered strategies that improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
By tightly integrating experimental research with prospective clinical studies and trials, we aim to generate insights that are both mechanistically robust and directly relevant to patient care. Our interdisciplinary team of clinicians, study coordinators, and scientists works across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to ensure that discoveries are rapidly translated into clinically actionable concepts.
Through this integrated approach, the Center seeks to advance precision oncology for pancreatic cancer and to establish functional model systems as a foundation for individualized treatment decision-making.
